Formula E: Gunther takes maiden win in Santiago

BMW's Maximilian Gunther took his first ever win in the sport after a last-lap overtake on Techeetah's Antonio Felix da Costa to seal back-to-back wins for the BMW I Andretti team.

After qualifying on Pole, Panasonic Jaguar's Mitch Evans led the first half of the race but showed his hand too early by activating his Attack Mode earlier than expected. Gunther pulled off an amazing overtake on the New Zealander to take the lead however, Da Costa was hot on the heels and barged his way past in a controversial move.

Keeping the pressure on, Gunther pulled off another great overtake to re-take the lead on the final lap as Da Costa struggled with battery usage and temperatures. It was Gunther's first trip to the podium in Formula E, never mind stepping the top step and the coveted trophy.

After three incredible races, there has been three different drivers winning from two different teams. Are we on for a repeat of last season's run of different winners?
